Ossy Kratz-Corell

1916 - ?

The actor Ossy Kratz-Corell joined the film business as a teenager where he was active for only few years in front of the camera.

He impersonated his first role in Erich Engels' "Kriminalreporter Holm" (32) with Hermann Speelmans, Julius Falkenstein, Elga Brink, Harry Hardt, Hugo Flink and Gerhard Bienert.

Afterwards he was a train conductor in "Liebelei" (33) directed by Max Ophüls with Paul Hörbiger, Luise Ullrich, Magda Schneider, Gustaf Gründgens, Olga Tschechowa and Paul Otto, he played a drunken yodeler in "Heimkehr ins Glück" (33) directed by Carl Boese at the side of Luise Ullrich, Paul Hörbiger, Heinz Rühmann, Ludwig Stössel and Paul Heidemann, he was the 1st Piccolo in Ludwig Berger's "Walzerkrieg" (33) with Renate Müller, Willy Fritsch, Paul Hörbiger, Adolf Wohlbrück, Rose Barsony and Theo Lingen, he acted in "Flüchtlinge" (33) directed by Gustav Ucicky with Hans Albers, Käthe von Nagy, Eugen Klöpfer, Ida Wüst, Veit Harlan and Hans Adalbert Schlettow and he was a corporal in the production "Die Finanzen des Grossherzogs" (34) directed by Gustaf Gründgens with Viktor de Kowa, Hilde Weissner, Paul Henckels, Heinz Rühmann, Fritz Alberti and Theo Lingen.

It lasted till 1971 till he took over another small role in an episode of the TV serial "Vorsicht, Falle! - Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger" (71).
