Heinz Altringen

The actor Heinz Altringen began his film career in 1920 with the movie "Königin Draga" (20) directed by Hans Otto Löwenstein with Magda Sonja, Hans Homma and Karl Leiter.

In the next years followed other silent movies with "Mozarts Leben, Lieben und Leiden" (21) with Dora Kaiser, Carl Goetz and Josef Zetenius, as King of Spain in Otto Kreisler's "Theodor Herzl, der Bannerträger des jüdischen Volkes" (21) at the side of Rudolph Schildkraut, Joseph Schildkraut, Ernst Bath and Josef Schreiter and "Das Leben des Beethoven" (27) with Fritz Kortner in the leading role

It lastet more than 25 years before Heinz Altringen appeared a last time in front of the camera.
He played the role of the hunter Imre Karoly in the production "Flucht ins Schilf" (53) with Kurt Jaggberg, Alexander Kerst, Bruno Dallansky and Gerhard Riedmann.
