The actor Vladimir Agayev impersonated some roles in silent movies at the beginning of the 20s.
He took part in the six-part movie "Nirvana" (20) directed by Fritz Bernhardt with Evi Eva, Bernhard Goetzke, Erich Kaiser-Titz and Heinrich Schroth, afterwards he impersonated a Russian student in Johannes Guter's "Ewiger Strom" with Werner Krauss, Marija Leiko, Heinrich Peer and F.W. Schröder-Schrom and he played roles in Reinhold Schünzel's "Das Mädchen aus der Ackerstrasse, 1. Teil" (20) at the side of Olga Engl, Reinhold Schünzel, Rosa Valetti, Albert Steinrück, Ferdinand von Alten, Lilly Flohr and Otto Gebühr, "Die Trommeln Asiens" (21) with Rudolf Lettinger, Käthe Haack and Heinrich Schroth, "Die Sonne Asiens" (21) with Paul Otto, Henry Sze, Victor Varconi, Aruth Wartan and Nien Soen Ling and as an adjudant in Franz Hofer's "Begierde" (21) with Margit Barnay, Olaf Storm, Emil Birron, Leonhard Haskel, Ulrich Bettac and Hermann Picha.
