The actor and comedian Marshall P. Wilder was able to fascinated a huge audience despite a spinal curviture thank to his great wit. He was already a very successful comedian on stage when he entered the new arising film business.  Humors ein grosses Publikum begeistern und war bereits ein äusserst erfolgreicher Akteur auf der Bühne, als er im neu enstehenden Filmgeschäft Fuss fasste.

His first appearance in front of the camera can even backdated till 1897, the movie was called "Marshall P. Wilder" (1897).

In the 10s he continued his film career, to these productions belong "Chumps" (12), "The Pipe" (12), "The Greatest Thing in the World" (13), "The Godmother" (12) and "The Widow's Might" (13).

Besides his activity as an actor he was also the writer of the book "People I Have Smiled With" and was author and editor of publications.
