The actress Gladys Walton already appeared at the age of 5 in front of a camera for the first time in "The Fairylogue and Radio-Plays" (08). But her real film career started in 1920 where she first was contracted by Sunshine Comedy Company and afterwards by Universal. To her first ovies belong "The Secret Gift" (20) and "Risky Business" (20).

Beside it she also appeared on stages.

She became established in the film business in the next years with "Rich Girl, Poor Girl" (21), "Desperate Youth" (21), "The Room of Death" (21), "A Dangerous Game" (22), "The Love Letter" (23), "The Wild Party" (23), "The Sky Raider" (25) and "The Ape" (28).

Gladys Walton was married twice, e.g. with screen writer Frank Liddell. Beside it she was the girlfriend of the legendary mobsman Al Capano for about ten years.

Because of this relationship her contract with Universal was not extended and with the rise of the sound film she retired from the film business.
