. The actor Josef Zetenius was born Josef Ignaz Eduard Zapalovicz in Krakow. He appeared in several films in the early 1920s. He played his first on-screen role in "Mozarts Leben, Lieben und Leiden" (1921), making him the first actor to portray this legendary composer in a film. This was followed by the films “Miss Hobbs" (21) and "Die Narrenkappe der Liebe" (21). His final film roles include “"Der Marquis von Bolibar" (22), "Führe uns nicht in Versuchung" (22) and "Hoffmanns Erzählungen" (23). His main focus was on the theater, where he was active for many years. He performed on numerous stages, including in St. Pölten and, above all, Vienna. |
