Ernst Sattler

The actor Ernst Sattler was already an actor who made his mark in theater when he entered the film business in the middle of the 30's. However he already made his film debut in 1917 with the silent movie "Wer küsst mich", it followed another silent movie called "Strandgut der Leidenschaft" (21), but this meant only a short-range excursion into the film business. 

To his well-known movies till the end of war belong "Schlussakkord" (36), "Fanny Elssler" (37), "Bismarck" (40), "Bal paré" (40), "Ich klage an" (41) and "Damals" (43). 

Besides his engagement at the theater he also worked for the film again after the war and impersonated support roles. 
To his last movies belong "Der Onkel aus Amerika" (53), "Gestehen Sie, Dr. Corda!" (58) and "Sabine und die hundert Männer" (60).
