The actress and singer Traute Rose belonged to the famous Berliner stage family Rose. She was a successful singer and became famous to a wide public with her appearances on the radio.
She made her film debut in 1936 with "Heiratsbüro Fortuna", it
followed "Ehe in Dosen" (39) and "Der Vorhang fällt" (39), after that
she only took part in one more movies during wartime - "Junge Herzen" (44).
She continued her stage and film career after the war and she acted in the productions "Krach im Hinterhaus" (49), "Anastasia - die letzte Zarentochter" (56), "Bei der blonden Kathrein" (59) and "Maigret und sei Revolver" (61).
