The actor Willi Grill took part in few movies from 1931.
In his first movie "Ronny" (31) directed by Reinhold Schünzel he impersonated the role of Anton with Käthe von Nagy, Willy Fritsch, Hans Wassmann, Otto Wallburg and Aribert Wäscher.
Afterwards he was the secretary Meyer in "Mädchen zum Heiraten" (32) directed by Wilhelm Thiele with Renate Müller, Hermann Thimig, Wolf Albach-Rett, Fritz Grünbaum, Szöke Szakall and Oskar Sima as well as Gerhard Lamrecht's "Prinzessin Turandot" (34) at the side of Willi Schaeffers, Leopoldine Konstantin, Käthe von Nagy, Inge List, Willy Fritsch, Paul Kemp, Paul Heidemann and Gerhard Dammann.
Afterwards followed a nearly 20 year long interruption before Willi Grill gave his one-time comeback in front of the camera for Helmut Käutner's "Käpt'n Bay-Bay" (53). He played the character Puvogel. To his co-stars belonged Hans Albers, Bum Krüger, Lotte Koch, Rudolf Fernau, Ernst Fritz Fürbringer and Carsta Löck.
