1910 - 1945

.
.
The actress Hilde Gebühr had a great role model in her family from the actors' guild. Her father was the famous actor Otto Gebühr.
So Hilde Gebühr also decided to take up the profession of an actress and she went to the Düsseldorf acting school of Louise Dumont.

First stage appearances followed, from 1932 at the Nuremberg theaters.

Also in 1932, she made her film debut with "Die Wasserteufel von Hieflau" (32) in the role of Inge alongside Dina Gralla, Paul Heidemann, Werner Finck and Ernst Morgan.

It followed the productions "Johannisnacht" (33) with Lil Dagover, Hans Stüwe, Alphons Fryland, Lotte Lorring and Joe Stöckel as well as Frank Wisbar's "Rivalen der Luft" (34) with Wolfgang Liebeneiner, Claus Clausen, Sybille Schmitz and Volker von Collande.

After that she concentrated again on her stage career.

Towards the end of World War 2 she worked as a nurse and died in 1945, apparently as a result of an infection.
