The actor Carl Dalmonico began his theater career at the young age of 19 with performances in Halle.
In the following years followed engagements in Berlin, Cologne, Weimar, Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt, Prague, Cologne, Bonn and Leipzig.

In addition to his work as an actor, he also realized plays as a director in later years.

An established theater actor in many classical plays, Carl Dalmonico made his film debut in 1914 with "Das treue deutsche Herz" (14).
It followed the production "Treue hier, Verrat dort" (16).

At the beginning of the 20's followed his last cinematical works with "Der Ochsenkrieg" (20), "Der Klosterjäger" (20), "Hochland" (20), "Der T&odessturz vom Watzmann" (21), "Der Brunnen des Wahnsinns" (21) and "Die Trutze von Trutzberg" (22).
