The actress Iven Andersen began her film career at the end of the 10s which only lasted for few years.

To her first movies belong "Das Mädchen aus der Opiumhöhle" (18) with Emil Albes, Ernst Hofmann and Karl Falkenberg, "...um eine Stunde Glück" (18) with Emil Albes, Karl Falkenberg, Friedrich Kühne and Hermann Vallentin, Richard Löwenbein's "Indische Nächte" (19) at the side of Rudolf Klein-Rhoden, Fred Immler and Gustav Adolf Semler, playing the role of Yesta Milner in "Menschen, die das Glück verachten" (19) with Joseph Klein and Gerda Frey as well as Herma in "Künstlerliebe" (19) directed by Richard Löwenbein with Fritz Alten and Gustav Adolf Semler.
 
Her last cinematical works came in 1920 into being. She impersonated the role of Klärchen in Hubert Moest's "Durch Seligkeit und Sünden" (20) with Gustav Adolf Semler and Anni Muth and "Gegen den Strom" (20) at the side of Josef Reithofer, Max Ruhbeck and Gustav Adolf Semler.
