The singer and actor Werner Alberti began his professional career as a business for a bank.
When he appeared as a singer in a private event he attracted interested and he began a singing education by Martin Röder.
He had a first performance at a charity concert and was engaged afterwards for a concert tour for three months.
Finally he became established as an opera singer and he appeared in Prague, Genua, Milan, Vienna, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Budapest and Berlin where he also lived.
Thanks to his great popularity he got a first film engagement in 1909 for the production "Rigoletto" (09).
Only at the end of the 20s followed other movies like "Der alte Fritz, 2. Teil: Ausklang" (28), "Der gefesselte Polo" (28) and "Dich habe ich geliebt" (29).
