The actress Hélène Perdrière went to the conservatory of art where she was awarded with a first price for comedy which brought her to the Comédie Français at the same time.
Three years later she turned to the theater and appeared on different stages in France.

She began her movie career already in 1930 with "Le roi des resquilleurs" (30). It followed movies like "Criminel" (32), "Mon coeur balance" (32), "Jeanne" (34), "La marmaille" (35) and "Le père Lebonnard" (39).

She continued her film career after the war but the theater still hold a more important position in her career.
To her post-war movies belong "Jeux de femmes" (46), "Route sans issue" (48), "Rome-Express" (49), "Le parfum de la dame en noir" (49), "Topaze" (51) and "Si tous les gard du monde" (56).

It followed a longer interruption before she made a brief comeback in the 70's.
To her last cinematical works belong "Le fantôme de la liberté" (74), "La belle vie" (79) and "La vie de Pierre de Coubertin" (80).
