The actress Mabel Julienne Scott made first acting experiences at the theater, first in Omaha, later also on Broadway where she appeared among others in "The Barrier".

She early fancied with the medium film too and from 1915 she took part regularly in movies. 
To her first cinematical works belong "A Continental Girl" (15), "The Barrier" (17), "Ashes of Love" (18) and "Sacred Silence" (19).

The 20s marked the height of her cinematical career.
She conquered the public's heart with popular productions like "The Sea Wolf" (20) mit Noah Beery, "Behold My Wife" (20), "The Round Up" (20) with Roscoe Fatty Arbuckle, "The Concert" (21), "Times Have Changed" (23), "Seven Days" (25), "Stranded in Paris" (26) and "Painted Faces" (29).

Beside it she remained busy at the theater as well and acted in successful plays like "The Lullaby" (26) and "The Copperhead" with Lionel Barrymore.

Mabel Julienne Scott retired from the film business with the end of the silent movie era. 

Her brother William Scott as also an actor.
