The actress Kissa von Sievers was born as a nobleness daughter of the comital family von Sievers at Castle Wenden. Her parents were count Emanuel von Sievers and princess Olga Urussow.
Despite her aristocratic ancestry Kissa van Sievers turned to the then disparagingly treated film business and she also did not choose a pen name for her film career but acted with her real name. She made her film debut in 1915 with "Der Mann mit der leuchtenden Stirn" (15) directed by Fred Sauer.
Kissa von Sievers took part in many other silent movies in the next years - often directed by Richard Oswald - among them in the role of the horsewoman Ella in "Zirkusblut" (16) with Bernd Aldor and Leontine Kühnberg, "Der Schlossherr von Hohenstein" (17) with Bernd Aldor, Lupu Pick and Reinhold Schünzel, "Es werde Licht!, 4.
