Ludwig Sachs

The actor Ludwig Sachs already took part in 1911 in his first movie called "Die falsche Banknote" (11).

He became a demanded actor from 1915 and he took part in the movies "Klasse bleibt Klasse" (15), "Die Firma lacht" (16), "Ein toller Abend" (16), "Der Millionenschuster" (16) and "Eine Walzernacht" (17).

In the 20s followed only few more cinematical works like "Ich bin Du" (21), "Ehekonflikte" (27), "Leichte Kavallerie" (27) and "Was eine Frau im Frühling träumt" (29).

Ludwig Sachs continued his career in the sound film era with "Einbruch im Bankhaus Reichenbach" (30), afterwards he retired from the film business temporarily and concentrated to the stage again. He remained active as an actor till to the old age.

Only in 1948 he returned to the film business. To his most popular movies of the following years belong "Die seltsamen Abenteuer des Fridolin B." (48), "Familie Benthin" (50), "Roman einer jungen Ehe" (52), "Die Unbesiegbaren" (53), "Sommerliebe" (55), "Thomas Müntzer" (56) and "Gejagt bis zum Morgen" (57).

He impersonated his last role at the age of 90 in the production "Sonnensucher" (72).
