. The actress Aenne Röttgen worked at the theater in the first place, from time to time she also appeared in few movies. Her first movie was "William Ratcliff" (22) at the side of Oscar Beregi, Hanna Ralph and Leo Dubois. Afterwards she impersonated the role of Dietlind in the classic "Die Nibelungen" (24) directed by Fritz Lang. To the stars of the movie belonged Paul Richter, Margarete Schön, Theodor Loos, Bernhard Goetzke, Hans Adalbert Schlettow and Rudolf Klein-Rogge. Her last cinematical works were "Soll und Haben" (24) with Hans Brausewetter, Paul Graetz, Theodor Loos, Mady Christians, Ilka Grüning, Ernst Deutsch, Olga Tschechowa and Bruno Kastner as well as "Nju" (24) directed by Paul Czinner with Elisabeth Bergner, Emil Jannings, Conrad Veidt, Maria Bard, Karl Platen and Maria Forescu. |
