The actress Alice Roberts, who also used the name Alice Roberte, launched a film career at the end of the 20s which covered only few years. During this time she was engaged for German and French productions.
She made her film debut with the silent movie "Das Schicksal derer von Habsburg" (28) and it followed the classic "Die Büchse der Pandora" (29) with Louise Brooks.
Afterwards she took part in the movies "Der Narr seiner Liebe" (29), "Meineid" (29) and "Der lustige Witwer" (29) before she changed to the French film, probably because of the rise of the sound film.
To her last appearances in front of the camera belong "L'île d'amour" (29), "La femme rêvée" (29), "Quand nous étions deux" (30) and "Mon curé chez les riches" (32).
