It lasted ten years before he appeared in movies again. He became a demanded support actor in the 30s for some well-known productions.
To his most popular movies of those years belong "Die Koffer des Herrn O.F." (31), "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (31), "Trenck" (32), "Spione im Savoy-Hotel" (32), "Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse" (33) and "Wasser für Canitoga" (39).
He only took part in one more movie after World War II in "Geheimakten Solvay" (53).
