The actor Hans Mühlhofer was a man who has made his mark at the theater when he took part in few movies on the big screen.

His first cinematical works came in 1916 into being with "Der Ruf der Liebe" with Henny Porten and "Das Skelett" (16). It followed "Das Geschlecht der Schelme" (18), "Die Tochter des Rajah" (18), "Das Schweigen im Walde" (18) and "Nixchen" (19).

His appearances in front of the camera remained seldom in the next years, to his movies belong "Falschspieler" (20) with Hans Albers and "Der Schädel der Pharaonentochter" (20) with Emil Jannings.

He had his last performances in talkies of the 30's. He appeared in "Das Flötenkonzert von Sanssouci" (30) at Otto Gebühr's and Renate Müller's side as well as in "Tannenberg" (32).
