1914 - 1990
The actress Hilla Hofer began her film career in 1937 with "Die Fledermaus" (37).
In the next years she took part in a series of other popular movies, among them "Verwehte Spuren" (38), "Die Nacht der Entscheidung" (38) and "Flucht ins Dunkel" (39).
After the outbreak of World War II she only appeared in one more movie called "Ehe man Ehemann wird" (41).
Only after the war she continued her film career but her appearances in front of the camery kept seldom, the theater was still her main activity.
To her postwar movies belong "Blockierte Signale" (48), "Der Jugendrichter" (60) and an episode of the TV serial "Ein Fall für Stein: Denkzettel am Telefon" (76).
Hilla Hofer was married with the actor Harald
Paulsen. Her son Uwe Paulsen became an actor too.
