1886 - 1963
The actor Franz Höbling played at the great Austrian stages in the first place.
After a study by Gregori at the play academy he got his first engagement at the Neues Schauspielhaus in Berlin.
In 1910 he was obligated to the Vienna stages and one year later he worked for the legendary Burgtheater. Beside it he also gave guest performances as a singer at different opera houses.
In silent movie era he also appeared in some movies, among others in
"Der Brief einer Toten" (17), "Der Stärkere" (18), "Das grinsende
Gesicht" (21) and "Hütet Eure Töchter!" (22).
