Karl Haubenreisser

The actor Karl Haubenreisser began his career at the theater and in the next years he got engagements at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim and at the Staatstheater in Berlin among others.
 
He entered the film business in 1938.
To his movies of the 30s belong "Der Tiger von Eschnapur" (38), "Das indische Grabmal" (38), "Poul le Mérite" (38), "Es war eine rauschende Ballnacht" (39) and "Robert Koch, der Bekämpfer des Todes" (39).
 
He impersonated other support roles in the 40s in well-known productions like "Maria Stuart" (40), "Bismarck" (40), "Über alles in der Welt" (41), "Ohm Krüger" (41), "Ich klage an" (41), "G.P.U." (42) and "Damals" (43).
 
Briefly before the end of World War II Karl Haubenreisser died during the fights for Berlin.
 
Karl Haubenreisser was married with the actress Herma Clement.
