Max Grünberg

The actor Max Grünberg was already an established stage actor when he entered the film business in 1918.

He made his screen debut with "Der Narr hat sie geküsst" (18), it followed other movies like "Arme kleine Eva" (19) and "Nonne und Tänzerin" (19).

He experienced the height of his film career in the 20s and he impersonated support roles in numerous silent movies.
To these works belong "Das Gastmahl des Satans" (20), "Die Geheimnisse von Berlin" (21), "Die fünf Frankfurter" (22), "Marie Antoinette - Das Leben einer Königin" (22), "Der Kaufmann von Venedig" (23), "Die Motorbraut" (25), "Die lachende Grille" (26) and "Luther" (28).

At the beginning of the 30s came his last cinematical appearances into being with "Das erste Recht des Kindes" (32), "Trenck" (32) and "Ihr grösster Erfolg" (34).

Besides his activity as an actor he also appeared at cabarets like "Die Wilde Bühne" by Trude Hesterberg.
