Oskar Fuchs

The actor Oskar Fuchs began his acting career at theaters in smaller German cities before he also got first engagements in Berlin.

When he joined the film business in 1912 he became very popular in not ime and he impersonated leading roles in the then favored action movies and detective stories. But his popularity remained limited to few years.

To his first movies belong "Die Dame in Schwarz" (12), "Der Totentanz" (12) and "Die Mauritiusmarke" (12).

Over the intervening years he took part in other productions like "Der Doppelgänger" (13), "Lincoln als Deckenläufer" (13), "Radium" (13), "Der Strumpf" (15) and "Die Abenteuer der Bianetti" (19).

Oskar Fuchs continued his film career till to the middle of the 20s.
His last movies include  "Ninon de Lenclos" (20), "Ein ungeklärter Fall" (21) and "Die zweite Mutter" (25).
Oskar Fuchs died in 1927 at the age of 61.
