The actress and singer Irene Eisinger had great musical successes in the 30's and participated in several recordings.
She belonged to the favourites of Otto Klemperer and took part in Kurt Weill's "Die Bürgschaft".

Thanks to her popularity as a singer she was engaged for a film called "Zwei Herzen im Dreiviertel-Takt" (30) for the first time.
It followed other movies like "Die lustigen Weiber von Wien" (31) and "Die Försterchristl" (31).

Finally her career was brought to an end by the National Socialists and she emigrated to England where she took part in her last movie "Young Man's Fancy" (39).
