The actor Jean Weber joined the film business in 1929 and he impersonated the role of "Chérubin" in the movie "Figaro" (29) at Arlette Marchal's and Marie Bell's side.

He became established for the French film business in the 30s and he took part in productions like "Le monsieur de minut" (31), "L'aiglon" (31), "Le coucher de la mariée" (33), "La femme invisible" (33) and "Le schpountz" (38) with the later famous comedian Fernandel.

During World War II Jean Weber appeared in the movies "Le capitaine Fracasse" (43), "Le brigand gentilhomme" (43) and "La Malibran" (44).

It followed a longer interruption after the war before he appeared again in a movie - "Si Paris nous était conté" (56) where he impersonated a small role.

After this movie followed again a long interruption of nearly 30 years before he played a last time in front of the camera for a telerecording of the play "Emmenez-moi au théâtre: Chéri" (84).
